Variantes de una guerra.

Entramos. Pequeñas manchas rojas, muchas, alineadas al fondo en la pared blanca. Seguimos. Sutiles variaciones, mínimas figuras aparecen, académicas copias de esculturas venidas de un pasado que lega cosas rotas. Nos engaña. Las caras sí están completas, aún intactas, no trizadas. Sesenta ojos cerrados. Están y flotan, sostenidos, sin llanto. La obra es una denuncia expresa de la guerra y sus crueles mecanismos. Los niños, introducidos a la fuerza en una obscena espiral de violencia, son convertidos en soldados y mueren, matan y mueren víctimas al fin de la manipulación y los intereses más insultantemente ilegítimos. La composición explora en el conflicto, remueve y por tanto es dolorosa y dramática, pero también humilde y sensible a la justicia.  Su obra, como aquí ocurre, es verdaderamente bella cuando vuelve sus ojos hacia el hombre y vierte sobre el mundo un juicio, una reflexión orientada a la acción y la cordura, un verso de esperanza. We come in. Many small red stains are lined up at the bottom of the white wall. We go on. Subtle variations, minimum figures show up. They are academic copies of sculptures from a past that leaves broken things. It tricks us. The faces are complete, still intact, not broken. Sixty closed eyes. They are and float without crying. The artwork is an explicit denunciation of the war and its cruel mechanisms. Children who are introduced by force in an obscene spiral of violence are converted into soldiers and die. They kill and die as victims of the end of the manipulation and the most insultingly illegitimate interests. The composition explores the conflict, removes and therefore is painful and dramatic, but also humble and sensitive to justice. His work, as here, is truly beautiful when it turns its eyes toward the man and pronounce trial over the world, a reflection pointing to action and sanity, a verse of hope.
